The Ministry of Rural Development implements the two flagship programmes of Government — Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) - both addressing the rural unemployment and poverty from different facets. This project is to synergize the functioning of the two so as to substantially enhance the quality of assets being created in the MGNREGS and thereby ensure better sustainability of rural livelihoods. The programme will help in creation of individual and community assets and empowering women by making systematic investments to enhance their participation and also create sustainable land based livelihoods of rural women. Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society invites suitable and specific proposals in prescribed format from reputed agencies/NGOs for implementation of PROJECT FOR CONVERGENCE MGNREGA-NRLM AND CFT STRATEGY.
Agencies having working experience in women empowerment and with Panchayati Raj Institution may submit their project proposal by 22nd August 2014 at 5.00 PM, to The Special Secretary cum CEO JSLPS Rural Development Deptt, Govt of Jharkhand, 3rd Floor, Shantideep Tower, Opp: Maharaja Hotel, Radium Road, Ranchi – 834001.
